Common questions

Ceremony music frequently asked questions.

How do we choose ceremony music?

We'll send you our comprehensive repertoire list and work with you to select pieces for each part of your ceremony. We're happy to provide guidance based on our experience performing at LA's finest venues.

Can you learn special songs?

Yes! With 4-6 weeks notice, we can learn and arrange special requests. We'll need high-quality recordings and/or sheet music to ensure we capture the piece faithfully.

Do you play outdoors?

Absolutely. String instruments can perform outdoors in appropriate conditions. We bring protective measures for our instruments and have experience with LA's various weather patterns and outdoor venues.

What if timing changes during the ceremony?

Our musicians are experts at reading the room and adapting in real-time. If a ceremony runs longer or shorter than expected, we seamlessly adjust our playing to match the moment.

Do you need amplification?

For small, intimate ceremonies (under 100 guests), acoustic instruments are often sufficient. For larger gatherings or outdoor venues, we bring professional amplification to ensure everyone hears the music.

How early do you arrive?

We arrive 60-90 minutes before the ceremony start time to set up, sound check, and begin prelude music 30 minutes before the ceremony begins. This ensures a stress-free experience.
